Description

Public education has always been informed by legislation.  It is evident that we need these laws because they provide protections for families,  students and schools. In this course a quick recap of legal issues will be provided in relation the IEP/ARD process.

The transition from school to work for students is an important focus in Texas.  In the following video the definition of transition services is given, according to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA 2004), and these services are explained.
