Texas CTE Resource Center Instructional Materials Will be Unpublished June 2, 2025

All CTE instructional materials on the Texas CTE Resource Center (this site) will be unpublished on June 2, 2025. After June 2, 2025, the materials will no longer be available online or through email request. Instructional materials impacted by this change include CTE course scope and sequence documents, lesson plans, slide decks, pre and post quizzes, activities, etc. Non-instructional resources on the site will not be removed.

The site and all non-instructional materials (e.g., guides, links to outside sources, etc.) are expected to remain available after June 2, 2025.

House Bill (HB) 1605 was passed during the 88th Texas Legislature (Regular Session). HB 1605 established an expanded process for the State Board of Education (SBOE) to approve high-quality instructional materials (HQIM). The Texas Education Agency will work to develop new CTE instructional content using the HQIM procurement process. To learn more about the instructional materials process and implementation, visit the Instructional Materials Terminology page.
